Weekend Warfare Tactical: Map Control

    Map control is the core element to playing Domination in Modern Warfare 2. You need to have good map knowledge so that you will be able to keep the enemy down to only one flag. Use your center flag defenders and your rushers for this. The rear flag defenders will be there to help pick up enemies that may slip through the cracks. To better show you how to utilize your team I will use the map Wasteland as an example.

     The flags on this map have good spacing but they are not equal. Your team should make it their goal to control Flag A and Flag B. These two flags are the closest together. It makes traveling between them much easier while avoiding the bunker. Always try and move between the flags using the open field. The tunnel will generally be filled with enemies attempting to capture Flag B.
    If you happen to spawn on Flag C, go ahead and capture it to get the points going for your team. Send two people to capture it and send the rest, as rushers, to capture Flag B. After your team has captured Flag B, leave two people behind to defend it. The rest of your team should then make the push for a. Leave Flag C unprotected for the enemy to capture. The members of your team that captured Flag C initially should make their way to assist with the capture of Flag A.
     Should you spawn on Flag A from the start of the match you should leave only one member behind to capture it. The rest of your team should move to capture Flag B. Once you have Flags A and B controlled use the map above for defender placement and rushing routes.
